SolDirect is a new platform that allows users to compare every single solar product and solar service on the market in the UK. They are by no means early to the game, but are here to disrupt the slightly dated and homogeneous solar comparison industry. With an app and website to come, SolDirect needed a solid brand to get them started.

In a market that is saturated with low quality and dated branding, SolDirect wanted to stand out as the modern, go-to platform for people who want to compare solar products and solar panel providers.

The brief was to come up with a brand that would stand out from the dated competition and establish them as the modern, user friendly alternative while reflecting what they do and their progressive vision.

Logo & Visual Identity

The logomark is representation of both what they do, and what they believe in. The outward facing lines visually represent the sun, and the arrow cut into the side signifies progression and the future - pushing solar into the future.

A customised wordmark was created with Helvetia Neue to give the logo a modern and trustworthy feel. It was designed to be used vertically and horizontally.

The flexibility of the logomark allows for an extremely consistent application and use across all aspects of the identity including marketing collateral and digital design.
